The assignment includes the geotechnical and structural design of two new interconnection galleries, in the Tezangos and El Fabar tunnels, it falls within the works of the adaptation Project of these tunnels, to the minimum requirements of R.D.635/2006 on Safety in Tunnels, being the joint venture COLLOSA-SICE the contractor awarded the works.
These two new galleries, which connect both tubes of each tunnel, with a length of 25 m each, will be excavated in hard and competent rock masses, made up of slates and sandstones in Tezangos and quartzites in El Fabar.
