The assignment´s scope includes the structural design of various oil containment basins for transformers.
The pits for the medium-low voltage transformers have dimensions of 22 meters long and 5 meters wide, with a total height of 4 meters, one of them below ground level. The pits for the medium-high voltage transformers have dimensions of 40 meters long and 20 meters wide, with a wall height of 12 meters.
It also includes a calculation to estimate the structural condition of one of the pits on an attached electrical building, since it was built later and implied a risk of mismatching the existing foundation.
