The assignment includes the design of both the metal structure and the foundation of the building that houses the water inlet pumps to the desalination plant.
The dimensions in plan are about 20 meters long by 8 meters wide. It has a 4-ton payload crane to carry out maintenance and repair work on the pumps.
The foundation is supported by isolated footings, avoiding the 10-meter-deep water intake pit.
